The East Bay Bridge Retail Center located in Emeryville, California is a 50-acre site with 480,000 square feet of building space for diversified full-scale grocery and retail outlet. This retail center consists of nationally known stores such as Home Depot, Safeway's, Pak-N-Save, Kmart, PACE Membership Warehouse, Bizmart Office/Computer Supply, and other retail stores.

Security By Design provided a Security Needs Assessment of the site to determine the objectives and security criteria. From this assessment, the design created was for a CCTV Security System with a Central Monitoring facility.

Security By Design produced biddable specifications with appropriate drawings for the CCTV System, and provided construction support services during the "fast track" construction period to ensure that the installed system met all the requirements stated in the Contract Documents.

This project also involves fiber optic cable and components that connect all Pan-Tilt-Zoom cameras to the head-end monitoring/recording equipment.
