A major university campus consisting of classroom facilities, libraries, residence halls, administrative, and support services buildings. Included are several local satellite campuses.

A comprehensive security site survey was conducted of all facilities at the main and satellite campuses. Security By Design was responsible for analyzing and making recommendations regarding the various access control, alarm monitoring, and closed circuit television systems. Security By Design wrote seven chapters of the 41 chapter final report that was delivered to the University. This project was a joint venture with Campus Crime Prevention Programs of Goshen, Kentucky.

Of Special Interest

SBD evaluated the potential for the use of proximity electronic access control cards and "smart" cards in coordination with all paid services of the University. Single technology and multiple technology approaches were analyzed.
