Domenigoni Valley Reservoir Project

The Domenigoni /Diamond Valley floor is large, the parallel hills north and south are steep, rugged, and inaccessible to standard vehicles. Scattered through the valley are numerous enclaves of special interest and sensitivity to archeological, biological, and other environmental interests. It was stated that this is the largest area of archaeological study in Southern California. The reservoirs when completed will consist of 7,000+ acres.

Security By Design conducted an investigation to determine and identify all security issues, evaluate the effectiveness of current security efforts including performance of the Contract guard Force, recommended methods to improve the in place security, and provided estimates for implementation of recommendations and options.

Of Special Interest

A number of people were involved in research from archaeological groups and other ancillary groups were on site. There were large field crews operating throughout the valley. The data gathered was large in amount and was sensitive for its site and historic findings.
