Security By Design provided professional services for the
investigation, evaluation, design, and construction support
for improvements to the physical security systems at the Airport
to meet the FAA's FAR 107.14 requirements.
Investigated the existing physical security, determined potential
threats, conducted vulnerability analyses, assessed the effectiveness
of current electronic security systems, and developed strategies
for mitigating threats.
Identified and evaluated alternative security solutions incorporating
electronic intrusion alarms and access control, closed circuit
television surveillance and recording, and intercom communications
systems.
Developed criteria for selection of electronic security systems
and components.
Prepared biddable technical specifications, details, and plan
drawings. Assisted the Airport during bidding, bid evaluation,
and contract award. Provided construction support and conducted
final acceptance testing and signoff services.
