Security By Design
Involvement
Security By Design provided professional services for the
investigation, evaluation, and design supervision for improvements
to the physical security system at the Airport to meet FAA
107.14 requirements.
Investigated existing physical security, determined threats,
conducted vulnerability analysis, assessed effectiveness for
current systems, and developed strategy for moving threats.
Identified and evaluated alternative solutions for access
control, closed circuit television and intercom systems.
Developed criteria for selection of an access control system
for the terminal buildings and land-side perimeter fence.
Evaluated and ranked potential systems, and prepared preliminary
plans and specifications.
Prepared technical specifications for competitive bidding
for the contract documents package. This included the statement
of scope, bid response forms, general terms and conditions,
security general requirements, security wiring and conduit,
central security control room, control and alarm monitoring,
security fiber optics, security intercom, and security closed
circuit television systems.
