This facility consists of a single-story Administration building and parking lot located outside of a large fenced area. The fenced area contains multiple buildings, a container yard, dockside container handling facilities, and railroad tracks for the loading and unloading of rail containers. Several of the existing buildings have been scheduled for demolition, while new replacement structures are in the design phase for future construction.

Security By Design was selected as the primary security consultant to provide the Port with a site survey. The formal report of the findings was the basis for our Conceptual Security Recommendations Report. Security By Design developed a slate of security recommendations and equipment, which were integrated into such elements as the Central Security Control (CSC) and Equipment Rooms. SBD created the formal design package, including specification and drawings for the access control and alarm monitoring systems. The consultant also served as the coordinator for 3 additional architectural teams.
